Connor McGarry

Connor McGarry is an associate in Gowling WLG’s Ottawa office, practicing in the Business Law Department. Connor’s practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions and general corporate work. His M&A experience ranges from representing business owners through their first sale or acquisition to representing international private equity firms. Also, Connor worked as an investment banker at a mid-market boutique investment bank for five years. This experience provides a unique perspective and added value to his legal practice.

Connor is an active member of the community. He coaches minor hockey and t-ball, has been a director for local not-for-profits, and is the co-founder and co-chair the Travis Price Classic Charity Golf Tournament (TPC), a golf tournament in honour of a friend. Over the course of its 14-year existence, the TPC has raised net proceeds in excess of $3M. In recognition of his professional and community achievements, Connor was awarded the Ottawa Business Journal and the Ottawa Chamber of Commerce “Forty Under 40” award in 2023.
